The Pentagon on Tuesday identified the airman who died July 18 of a non-combat-related injury as 1st Lt. Anais A. Tobar, 25, of Miami. Tobar was assigned to the 4th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron from Seymour Johnson AFB, N.C. Tobar was deployed in support of the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing at an undisclosed base in Southwest Asia as part of Operation Inherent Resolve, according to a news release. The Pentagon did not provide additional details on Tobar’s death.
More than 100 B-21s will be needed if the nation is to avoid creating a high demand/low capacity capability, panelists said on a Hudson Institute webinar. The B-21's flexibility, stealth, range and payload will be in high demand for a wide range of missions, both traditional and new.
