The Pentagon announced April 11 that A1C Jacob I. Ramsey, 20, of Hesperia, Calif., died April 10 of injuries sustained from a non-combat related incident in Kabul, Afghanistan. Ramsey had deployed to support Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan from the 712th Air Support Operations Squadron at Ft. Hood, Tex. The release stated, “The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.”
