Four 2004 Air Force Academy graduates have joined the lawsuit brought by Michael Weinstein against the Air Force for allowing officers and cadets at the academy to proselytize Christianity, according to the Associated Press. The four, now second lieutenants, are: Casey Weinstein, one of Weinstein’s sons, Ariel Kayne, Patrick Kucera, and Jason Spindler. Weinstein himself is an academy graduate and has one son still at the academy. Weinstein has offered to drop the lawsuit if the Air Force bans proselytizing. (DR, 10/21/05)
RTX’s Raytheon unit was able to “significantly” extend the range of the AIM-120 Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile using mostly software changes in experimental tests last year, expanding the reach and lethality of the standard U.S. dogfighting weapon, company officials said Sept. 15.
