A variety of US Air Force aircraft will participate in the Singapore International Airshow Feb. 11-16 at the Changi Exhibition Center in Singapore, including the F-16 Fighting Falcon and the C-17 Globemaster III. Other US military aircraft participating in the show include the MV-22 Osprey and the KC-130J Hercules, according to a Feb. 11 release. In addition, more than 150 companies and “a large contingent” of US government and private sector visitors will attend, marking the largest US presence ever at the airshow, states the release. The airshow “demonstrates our commitment to our partners and allies while furthering mutual training and cooperation between our military forces,” said Pacific Air Forces Commander Gen. Hawk Carlisle in the release.
The House of Representatives passed a massive appropriations package with defense funding Jan. 22, moving lawmakers one step closer to passing a budget for fiscal 2026 and avoiding another government shutdown. The spending package includes cuts in funding for the B-21 Raider bomber and the LRSO missile.
