Lt. Gen. Steven Kwast, commander and president of Air University, Ala., has cancelled an entire class (17G) at Squadron Officers School, Air Force Personnel Command announced May 11. The decision was made due to “a course re-write and imminent decision on curriculum changes by the Chief of Staff of the Air Force,” according to a press release. Air University will work to “reschedule and reprioritize SOS attendance” for affected airman, AFPC said. They could be rescheduled to attend the school as soon as the next class (18A), beginning July 31.
BAE Systems is building a new slate of compact electronic warfare tools for small airborne platforms that could coordinate with fighters, work with helicopters, or augment legacy aircraft with outdated, hard-to-update EW suites.
