Two 15-second advertisements on the Air National Guard will play on the CBS “Super Billboard” in New York City’s Times Square through November. The commercials, which will air every hour, 18 hours a day, will direct people to a Web site outlining available jobs in the Air Guard, said Capt. Rondal Perry, chief of ANG’s marketing and advertising branch, in a National Guard Bureau release. “The CBS screen is strategically located at 42nd Street between 7th and 8th Avenues and presents more than 1.5 million impressions daily in full motion and full color on 520 square feet of viewing space,” states the release.
The Space Development Agency says it’s on track to issue its next batch of missile warning and tracking satellite contracts this month after those awards were delayed by the Pentagon’s decision to divert funds from the agency to pay troops during this fall’s prolonged government shutdown.
