USAF has been training the new Iraqi Air Force, which officials say has made “significant progress” in only a few months. “We are starting over, “ the head of the Iraqi Air Force, Maj. Gen. Kamal Barzanjy, told USAF journalist SSgt. Melissa Koskovich. He added, “America has given us a lot of help, and we have already accomplished many things, but we need to keep growing.”
