The Air Force expects to complete the first of three new family housing apartment towers at Osan AB, South Korea, in March 2006. The second and third buildings should follow by spring 2008. The first tower is eight stories, with 112 apartments. The second will be 10 stories, with 104 apartments, while the third will be 14 stories, with 112 apartments.
More than 100 B-21s will be needed if the nation is to avoid creating a high demand/low capacity capability, panelists said on a Hudson Institute webinar. The B-21's flexibility, stealth, range and payload will be in high demand for a wide range of missions, both traditional and new.
