US Air Force personnel at Bagram AB, Afghanistan, have been training soldiers of the Afghan National Army in the proper techniques to rig supplies for air drops. It was a three-day intensive course for 10 member of ANA’s Central Movement Agency. For some of the Afghan soldiers, it was their first time to work with an aircraft.
The last remaining T-1 Jayhawk at JBSA-Randolph, Texas, took its final flight to the "Boneyard" at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., on July 15. The 99th Flying Training Squadron will train pilots using T-6 and simulator until it gets T-7 Red Hawk in fiscal 2026.
