Some 100 members of the 23rd Flying Tiger Association are going to Moody AFB, Ga., now the home of the 23rd Wing, for their annual reunion. It is the first time Moody has hosted the event since activation of the 23rd Wing, reports Capt. Dustin Hart, and the Tigers are commemorating the 65th anniversary of the wing.
The Air Force expects to start modifying its first B-52H Stratofortress bomber with new engines and other upgrades later this year, following the successful review of the Commercial Engine Replacement Program’s design.
