Six F-16s and an untold number of airmen have traveled from the 51st Fighter Wing at Osan AB, South Korea, to Singapore to participate in the third installment of Commando Sling. The exercise with the Singapore Air Force will run through May 25.
Anduril and General Atomics will develop their Collaborative Combat Aircraft for the Air Force, beating out Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman, the service announced on April 24. But any of the non-selected companies can compete to actually manufacture the eventual design the Air Force said.
