Thousands of Guard and Reserve members need to hustle to meet a Sept. 30 deadline for enrolling in the newly restructured Tricare Reserve Select health care plan. There will be no automatic rollover into the new plan for current Tricare members, according to a Tricare Management Activity release. As of early September, just 15 percent of the 11,000 reservists currently under Tricare had submitted the mandatory request forms to regional contractors.
