The Air Force has awarded the Bronze Star medal to 12 airmen deployed to the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing’s 70th Medium Truck Detachment in Iraq. The detachment comprises some 160 airmen who drove more than 5.5 million miles on 220 missions from mid-April to this month. The 12 airmen receiving Bronze Stars are:

TSgt. Lorenzo Zapata, Ramstein AB, Germany.
