The Air National Guard’s 143rd Airlift Wing at Quonset State Airport in Rhode Island has received its seventh new C-130J Super Hercules, according to Lockheed Martin. ANG Director Lt. Gen. Craig McKinley accepted the aircraft for the 143rd AW, which will receive its eighth and final new J Model later this year.
The Air Force said May 4 it has approved the T-7A Red Hawk trainer aircraft to move into low-rate production and awarded Boeing a $219 million contract to start building the first 14 production jets.
