Air University has unveiled the first issue of its new Strategic Studies Quarterly, which AU’s Carl Bergquist reports is designed to provide a means of “interjecting air, space, and cyberspace perspectives into the intellectual battle space.” After USAF Chief of Staff Gen. Michael Moseley approved the concept, AU had the journal’s staff working by January of this year on the first issue. Editor-in-chief Anthony Cain said the journal serves as an “impetus to find new ways to view problems, to access new information and perspectives and to combine our knowledge and methods … to advance our progress toward a common security goal.” (Read the SSQ online here.)
