The 33rd Fighter Wing at Eglin AFB, Fla., has elements of the 410 Tactical Fighter (Operational Training) Squadron from Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada, visiting for a little dissimilar air combat training. It’s an annual arrangement, according to the Pensacola News-Journal. The Canadians brought several CF-18 Hornets to fly against the 33rd’s F-15s.
Anduril and General Atomics will develop their Collaborative Combat Aircraft for the Air Force, beating out Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman, the service announced on April 24. But any of the non-selected companies can compete to actually manufacture the eventual design, the Air Force said.
