Gen. Duncan McNabb formally assumed command of Air Mobility Command during a ceremony on Oct. 14 at Scott AFB, Ill. McNabb told the audience that he has “been fighting to get back” to AMC ever since he left command of AMC’s Tanker Airlift Control Center. “AMC is truly one of the crown jewels in our national defense,” he said. ”
