Mark Welsh will address the symposium on Feb. 21 at 8:35 a.m. East Coast time, followed by CMSAF James Cody at 9:20 a.m. Panel discussions on Thursday include airpower in the Libyan civil war; AirSea Battle; effective airpower in an era of decreased resources; fleet sustainment in the 2020s; and sustaining global presence with diminishing assets. Among Thursday’s senior Air Force panelists are: Air Force Materiel Command boss Gen. Janet Wolfenbarger; US Air Forces in Europe Commander Gen. Philip Breedlove; Air Combat Command head Gen. Mike Hostage; Air Mobility Command boss Gen. Paul Selva; Lt. Gen. Burton Field, deputy chief of staff for operations, plans, and requirements; Air Force Reserve Chief Lt. Gen. James Jackson; and Lt. The last remaining T-1 Jayhawk at JBSA-Randolph, Texas, took its final flight to the "Boneyard" at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., on July 15. The 99th Flying Training Squadron will train pilots using T-6 and simulator until it gets T-7 Red Hawk in fiscal 2026.
