Air Force Reserve Command’s 326th Airlift Squadron at Dover AFB, Del., dispatched an aircrew flying a Dover C-17 to deliver 18,000 pounds of humanitarian supplies to Nicaragua last week. Included in the haul were desks, chairs, file cabinets, and books for a new library at Ave Maria University’s Latin American Campus, which is a US-accredited school in the Carazo region. The Naples, Fla.-based university arranged delivery of the material through the Denton Program, jointly run by US Agency for International Development and the State and Defense Departments. Top Lawmakers Want 15 Percent Pay Raise for Enlisted Troops

A new law introduced by Congress would raise the pay rate 15 percent for junior enlisted troops and seek improvements on a range of quality of life issues, such as pay and compensation, child care, housing, health care access, and military spouse employment.
