Air Guard to Train Intel Analysts

The Texas Air National Guard has launched a new unit at Goodfellow Air Force Base that will work alongside units of the active-duty 17th Training Group, primarily to train enlisted personnel in collection, analysis, and application of all-source intelligence. According to an Aug. 22 release, the ANG’s 217th Training Squadron stood up at Goodfellow on Aug. 15, under the leadership of Lt. Col. James Marrs. (Goodfellow report by Lt. Jon Meliferas)
