There are no more tensions between the US and Israeli defense establishments over Israel’s sharing of sensitive military technology with third parties, says the Pentagon. Israel has agreed to consult the US before selling weapons technology to China—or any other nation—according to a joint DOD-Israeli Ministry of Defense statement issued Tuesday. The agreement “begins to restore confidence in the technology security area,” reads the statement. It goes on, additional steps to “restore confidence fully” will be taken in the coming months.
