Congress approved the Fiscal 2006 military construction spending bill on Nov. 18, sending the $ 6.2 billion measure to the President for signature. The legislation includes $1.5 billion for implementation of the 2005 BRAC decision
The Air Force wants to pump more than $12 billion over the next five years into its new affordable long-range missiles program and recently asked industry to push the flights of some of those munitions beyond 1,200 miles.
