Central Command Air Forces has a special Web site displaying individual and unit awards that Air Force Reserve Command officials say Reservists should visit to see whether they are eligible for awards from their duty in the Global War on Terror. Since 9/11, they note, the Air Force has mobilized about 30,000 Reservists and thousands more have volunteered.
Aircraft readiness will suffer if Congress does not approve some $1.5 billion worth of spare parts the Air Force requested in its annual Unfunded Priorities List, sent to Capitol Hill last week, Chief of Staff Gen. David W. Allvin said.
