A new veterans cemetery dedicated Nov. 3 in Mission, Texas, will provide a burial site for about 45,000 veterans and their families in South Texas. The Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery, located 230 miles south of San Antonio, will be available for burials starting in December, according to a Veterans Affairs new release.
