The Air Force inactivated the 613th Contingency Response Group at Andersen AFB, Guam, replacing it with the 36th CRG to mirror the unit’s placement under the 36th Air Expeditionary Wing. The group fell under 13th Air Force until May 2005.
Lockheed Martin’s proposed autonomous drone, called Vectis, is still on track to fly a prototype by the end of 2027, an official from the company’s Skunk Works division said Sept. 10, and the firm already started work on four more Vectis aircraft.
