Veterans Affairs plans to build a new outpatient facility on land recently purchased in Cape Coral, Fla., to more effectively serve the many veterans living in Lee County, according to a VA press release. The clinic will replace a VA facility in Fort Myer. No date is set for completion of construction.
The United States Air Force is flying less than historic norms and funding for acquisition and readiness is on a path to further hollow out this too small and old force to that is incapable of sustaining an enduring combat air campaign.
