Air Force Materiel Command has activated a provisional Global Logistics Support Center to standup the actual GLSC, whose job will be to “own” the Air Force’s supply chain management process. Materiel Command expects to reach initial operational capability, networking current personnel and capabilities into a single organization, in 2008.
