Air Force Reserve Command deactivated its 913th Airlift Wing at Willow Grove ARS, Pa., on Sept. 30, reports The Intelligencer. The unit, which fell prey to BRAC 2005, has operated out of Willow Grove for about 40 years. A unit spokesman told the newspaper that about 260 of the unit’s 300 full-time employees had found new positions and some 1,000 of the 1,200 traditional part-time Reservists had gone to other units.
