Bush Visits Vance AFB: 
President Bush dropped in with Air Force One at Vance AFB, Okla., on May 6, enroute to Oklahoma State University to deliver a commencement address. At Vance, some 300 servicemembers, civilians, and family members came out to greet the Commander in Chief. Among the official greeters were Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.), Lt. Gov. Mary Fallin, and Enid, Okla., Mayor Ernie Currier.
2nd Lt. Leah A. Borsich, an Air Force civil engineer, was among the eight people killed when a contractor plane crashed near a remote Alaskan radar site last week, officials announced Aug. 24.
