It appears that there is widespread disgruntlement over a recent directive that would have Air Reserve Technicians in Air Force Reserve Command wear uniforms even while working in their civilian status. We reported last week about grumblings on the East Coast, now there is a report from California that ARTs at March Air Reserve Base also has sparked protest and possible union involvement. The new directive affects some 6,500 ARTs represented by unions; another 4,300 ARTs already wear uniforms, reports The Press Enterprise.
