Col. Cathy Clothier, commander of the 22nd Air Refueling Wing at McConnell AFB, Kan., has been tapped to run the Air Force’s Senior Leader Management Office at the Pentagon. She will be taking over the office recently left leaderless by the reassignment and demotion of Brig. Gen. Richard Hassan. Clothier, a native of Orange, Tex., is a 1982 Air Force Academy graduate and a command pilot with 2,500 flying hours. She commanded two expeditionary groups in Southwest Asia operations. Col. Donald J. Halpin, currently vice commander of the 6th Air Mobility Wing, MacDill AFB, Fla., will replace Clothier at McConnell during a change of command ceremony later this month.
