Officials from Dover AFB, Del., recently detailed current and planned construction on the base for the state’s Congressional delegation and area civic and business leaders. Six of the nine current projects will aid the beddown of C-17 airlifters at the Air Mobility Command base. Joseph Biden (D), who attended the briefing, commended the Dover team, saying it had been “operating at a back-breaking pace, and there is no indication that the workload will diminish or the need will subside anytime soon.”
