The Air Force retires the last of its T-43A training aircraft during a ceremony at Randolph AFB, Tex. The service flew the T-43 from 1973 as a flying classroom for navigators. Training in T-1 Jayhawks and T-6A Texan IIs replaced that in the T-43.
