At 4:10 p.m. local time, the last USAF aircraft to fly over Hanoi, a Ryan AQM-34L drone, photographs results of the Operation Linebacker II raids for bomb damage assessment. The cease-fire takes effect at 7 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, which makes the cease-fire date effective Jan. 28 in Vietnam.
