Air Mobility Command informed us that the entry in Wednesday’s Daily Report column on the C-17 formation airdrop in Afghanistan was based on outdated information posted in error at the command’s website. Accordingly, we have removed the entry from our website.
The rate of building B-21 bombers would speed up if the fiscal 2026 defense budget passes. But it remains unclear how much capacity would be added, and whether the Air Force would simply build the bombers faster, or buy more.
