The Air Force Association’s annual Air Warfare Symposium runs Feb. 21-23, in Orlando, Fla. The theme of this year’s conference is “Innovation: The Warfighter’s Edge.” Speakers will include USAF Secretary Heather Wilson, Chief of Staff Gen. David Goldfein, Air Combat Command boss Gen. Mike Holmes, Air Education and Training Command boss Lt. Gen. Steven Kwast, and CMSAF Kaleth Wright. The United States Air Force is flying less than historic norms and funding for acquisition and readiness is on a path to further hollow out this too small and old force to that is incapable of sustaining an enduring combat air campaign.
