The Dawn Patrol Rendezvous World War I Fly-In, one of the leading historical aviation events in the country, will appear at the National Museum of the US Air Force in Dayton, Ohio from Sept. 30-Oct. 2. The event features flyovers by vintage reproduction aircraft, such as the Fokker DR-1, SE-5, and Curtiss JN4D Jenny. In 2003, the last time the Dawn Patrol came to the museum, it drew approximately 50,000 visitors.
The KC-Z4, a blended wing body tanker concept being developed by startup JetZero, could fuel larger groups of aircraft at longer range to hold more targets at risk, company officials say.
