In case you wondered, the San Antonio Express-News reports that the former Air Force basic training drill instructor who posed nude for Playboy magazine has resigned. The newspaper also reports that the Air Force kicked SSgt. Michelle Manhart from active duty back to the Iowa Air National Guard as part of disciplinary action. An earlier Air Force statement said it had relieved Manhart of her duties as a drill instructor. Manhart told the Express-News that she has resigned from the Guard, but ANG officials were not immediately able to confirm that.
