A multi-organizational team led by Air Force Materiel Command’s Warfighter Sustainment Division is finding and returning aircraft parts that have gone missing—quite often because they’ve simply been sent to the wrong address or been misidentified and left to sit on a shelf. NORAD surged two F-35s, two F-16s, and a trio of KC-135s to Pituffik Space Force Base in Greenland earlier this month for a “dynamic operational exercise,” testing its ability to rapidly deploy forces in the Arctic.
