A multi-organizational team led by Air Force Materiel Command’s Warfighter Sustainment Division is finding and returning aircraft parts that have gone missing—quite often because they’ve simply been sent to the wrong address or been misidentified and left to sit on a shelf. The Space Development Agency says it’s on track to issue its next batch of missile warning and tracking satellite contracts this month after those awards were delayed by the Pentagon’s decision to divert funds from the agency to pay troops during this fall’s prolonged government shutdown.
