The Pennsylvania Air National Guard has put one of the EC-130E Commando Solo aircraft of the 193rd Special Operations Wing on static display at Ft. Indiantown Gap, commemorating the event in a special ceremony last week, reports The Patriot-News. This particular aircraft tail No. 7773 flew until the end of 2005. The ANG’s 193rd SOW began the shift to the new J model Hercules, the EC-130J Commando Solo II, in 2004. The unit flies psychological warfare missions, broadcasting information to target audiences via radio and television.
