Air Force CMSgt. Kenneth J. McQuiston is moving up the street to become the Senior Enlisted Advisor for US Transportation Command, headquartered at Scott AFB, Ill. McQuiston, a 23-year USAF veteran, has been the command chief master sergeant for Air Mobility Command’s 18th Air Force, with its HQ at Scott, as well. He says it will be a challenge to learn the career, promotion, and educational systems of the other military services represented at TRANSCOM, but he says that his experience has taught him that “people are people” and they all “want to do a good job, be recognized for their performance.”
The Smithsonian’s announcement that an F-117A Nighthawk, tail number 85-0818, is headed to the Smithsonian Institution’s National Air and Space Museum, or NASM, is welcome news.
