Some 19 airmen and soldiers deployed to the Panjshir Provincial Reconstruction Team in Afghanistan hiked for four hours into the mountainous region to deliver medical and humanitarian aid to residents of Roydara village. While in the village, they ran medical clinics and discussed potential future construction projects that would aid the villagers, reports SSgt. Julie Weckerlein. Then, of course, the PRT group had to hike back out.
