Deep Freeze Resumes

US Pacific Air Forces is set to resume Operation Deep Freeze, the Air Force’s resupply mission for the National Science Foundation and US Antarctica operations at McMurdo Station. Aircrews from the New York ANG’s 109th Airlift Wing are on their way to Christchurch, New Zealand, with their unique ski-equipped LC-130.
