Chinese officials have reported the presence of the new Fighter-10 with China’s Air Force, saying the new F-10 has “noticeably enhanced” battle effectiveness, reports the People’s Daily Online. We reported earlier this year, that the Pentagon had changed its assessment of the F-10, which initially had been likened to the F-16. Now, DOD pegs the new China-built fighter as paralleling the capability of the Eurofighter Typhoon.
The Pentagon is readying a slew of reforms to its acquisition practices designed to speed up the military’s process for buying weapons and systems and structure its program offices to prioritize competition and commercial capabilities, according to a draft memo.
