DOD’s acquisition guru Ken Krieg has wrapped up his “investment review” of the Air Force’s CSAR-X program and reportedly has left it alone, according to Dow Jones Newswires. Krieg initiated the review in February to see how the helicopter fleet fit in with existing DOD aircraft fleets. Lexington Institute’s Loren Thompson told Dow Jones that the review left USAF plans untrammeled.
Gen. David W. Allvin completed two years as Chief of Staff, half the statutory tour length, but long enough, he says, to have made a mark on the Air Force.
