The Army and Navy academies both have “sporadic and incomplete” records when it comes to tackling the problems of sexual harassment and sexual assault, says the Congressionally chartered Defense Task Force on Sexual Harassment and Violence at the Military Service Academies. The report released Thursday focused on West Point and Annapolis; the Air Force Academy had already been scrutinized in 2003 by the so-called Fowler Commission. It would seem that the media storm and Congressional condemnation should not have focused solely on the Air Force school. Look for this investigation to go on for a while.
