Fairchild delivers the first of 10 C-26A operational support aircraft to the Air National Guard’s 147th Fighter-Interceptor Group at Ellington ANGB, Tex. The C-26 is the military version of the Metro III commuter aircraft.

While none of the major aircraft contractors were selected to develop the Collaborative Combat Aircraft, all three say they are seeking further autonomous aircraft work for the Navy, foreign partners, or in the classified arena, and maybe future versions of the CCA itself.
