Suzie Schwartz, wife of Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz, recently started her own Facebook page to offer an open forum for military families. It also includes links to a variety of sites ranging from the Air Force Mortuary Affairs Center to the Air Force Charity Ball. “I hope this brings together spouses from all walks of life to help us enjoy being the center of the AF family. Norty [Gen. Schwartz] and I have enjoyed what the AF has given us and I want to share my experiences with you,” she wrote in her first wall post Tuesday. (AFNS release)
The Space Development Agency says it’s on track to issue its next batch of missile warning and tracking satellite contracts this month after those awards were delayed by the Pentagon’s decision to divert funds from the agency to pay troops during this fall’s prolonged government shutdown.
