An airman deployed in support of Operational Inherent Resolve died Monday as a result of non-combat injuries. The airman, whose name was withheld pending next of kin notification, was assigned to the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing at an undisclosed base in Southwest Asia, according to Air Forces Central Command. No additional details about the airman’s death were released.
The nominee to become the next head of U.S. Strategic Command, Vice Adm. Richard Correll, endorsed the production of more than 100 B-21 bombers, echoing his predecessor Gen. Anthony Cotton's view.
