The Hispanic Engineer National Achievement Awards Conference recently honored Air Force Capt. Eduardo D. Aguilar at its “most promising military engineer” for 2005. He serves as chief of the Block IIF space integration team for the Global Positioning System, at the Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles AFB, Calif.
The Space Development Agency says it’s on track to issue its next batch of missile warning and tracking satellite contracts this month after those awards were delayed by the Pentagon’s decision to divert funds from the agency to pay troops during this fall’s prolonged government shutdown.
